Baseball, there ain't that much left in that account! However, I don't see any advantage NE has over pitt in this game. First off, today's game means nothing. Indy outside in crappy weather in a place they have never won? NE will not have any advantage next week. Pitt has a better defense, especially their run defense, and I think Pitt has a better running game. THe only advantage NE has is experience which is a huge one.

just an opinion, but I cant believe you Steeler fans arent a bit worried! Your team got sooooooooo lucky yesterday because of stupid coaching. I give you that they have a good D but you still have a ROOKIE quarterback that really was exposed yesterday. Some of you say that NE won ONLY because of Indy playing outside......but why oh why was all the money on the Colts? Like I said, I am not bashing in this post, just simply stating my opinion.............I like the Pats. Sorry Steeler fans!
Buffrock....I'm not a steeler's fan. In fact, as a fan I prefer NE. However, I think we see the Pats that got beat by Pittsburg and Miami rather than the Pats that beat up a helpless, hapless indianapolis team. Too many people favoring NE because of tonights game.
Agree that Tom Brady is the better QB...he was better earlier this year when they lost at Pittsburg too.

Sure, the pats lost to the dolphins, and steelers in the reg season. However those were both meaningless games.
Pats have won two superbowls in the past 3 years for a reason.
Meanwhile the Steelers have only made it to one superbowl in the last 23 years.
I go with the experienced pats any day of the week over a rookie QB and a team that has virtually no postseason experience.

I agree with you that Pittsburgh at home getting a FG is the play here, public perspective is that the jets barely lost and probably should have won if not for a missed FG, but the reality is that TWO plays ( INT return for a TD and a punt return for a TD ) kept the jets in the game to begin with.

I believe a 3 pt. road favorite equates to a 9pt home favorite, would you take NE -9 vs. Pitt at home in this spot? Also, I think a lot of people are putting a lot of stock in both teams last game, Pitt has yet to lose at home and played one of their worst games of the year on Saturday, while NE played a flawless game today.
Belichik and NE are money in the revenge role though and the Pats have an experience edge, I think this is a FG game, either way.

don`t just look at the last game...look at the whole year....the home field advantage....the match-ups.....
indy has a mediocre defense...at best.....they don`t have a dominating,time consuming,power type of ground game that wears teams down....
pitt has defense...home field....a dominating ground game....and a dangerous enough passing game if utilized wisely....
they just need the overrated roethlisberger to do his best trent dilfer imitation(from the ravens super bowl run in 2000).....manage the game....and don`t sink the ship...
